LIABILITY RELEASE FORM

Marissa Shelford (hereinafter referred to as “Coach”) and Identity Exchange LLC (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) is not an employee, agent, lawyer, doctor, therapist, registered dietician, or psychotherapist of the Client. Client understands that this Coach has not promised, and shall not be obligated to act as a therapist providing psychoanalysis, psychological counseling or behavior therapy to the Client. Client acknowledges that coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association and that coaching is not to be used as a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, or other professional advice by legal, medical or other qualified professionals and that it is the Client’s exclusive responsibility to seek such independent professional guidance as needed. If Client is currently under the care of a mental health professional, it is recommended that the Client promptly inform the mental health care provider of the nature and extent of the coaching relationship agreed upon by the Client and the Coach. The Coach and Company makes no guarantees or warranties, express or implied. In no event will the Coach or Company be liable to the Client for consequential or special damages. Notwithstanding any damages that the Client may incur, the Coach’s and Company’s entire liability, and the Client’s exclusive remedy, will be limited to the amount paid by the Client to the Company for all services rendered up until the agreed ending date.

Permission to Record and Use for Training Purposes

The Client hereby grants permission to the Coach and the Company to record coaching sessions. These recordings may be used solely for the purpose of training, supervision, and quality improvement within the Company. The recordings and Client’s identity will be kept confidential and will not be shared with any third parties without the Client's explicit written consent.

Coaching with Marissa Shelford

In 2019, Marissa was introduced to the principles of lasting transformation through understanding true identity and thus began her journey with Identity Exchange. In 2019, she went through the “Knowing Rediscovered” series and felt prompted to explore her identity in Christ more deeply. While contemplating the book of Ruth, Marissa exchanged her false identity for the truth that she is a Kinsman-Redeemer, not the cause of family conflict. Over the next five years, she did a deep dive through all the Identity Exchange content and coaching and found healing and freedom.

Prompted by the Lord, she transitioned from being a Pediatric RN to becoming a spiritual nurse. Marissa coaches with compassion and empathy while drawing on her extensive experience from her own transfromation and from leading others in personal transformation while also guiding them through the Identity Exchange courses.

Marissa married her husband Conner in 2014 and finds great joy in her marriage and mothering their four adorable children. She lives near Seattle, WA. As a coach with Identity Exchange, she helps others redeem their story by leading them to heal inner wounds and live fearlessly in their true identity.
